In the series I focus on peolple from the Hungarian LGBTQ community. The communication of contemporary Hungarian politics in the way of the community has changed. It has become hostile. Later led to a constitutional amendment. Many of them have recently considered emigrating or simply don’t want to feel like second-class citizens in their own country. After the Hungarian election of 2022, the only solution for most LGBTQ+ people is to rebuild own life in the other country. I photograph gay, lesbian and transgender persons, couples and families, pairing them with symbols of travel, escape and rebuild. The series is in an ongoing status. It includes a dummy with the same formal elements as a passport. My short-term plans are to develop the project into photobook for publication.
